Another wonderful way to learn Tableau is looking at the Tableau Public Gallery. There are some fantastic visualizations there, which one can actually download as .twb or .twbx. This means they can be opened up in Tableau desktop and broken down to understand what their creator did (& how).

Also, a Tableau license tip, Desktop full version is free for a year for students (.edu email addresses)! 😉
